I've lived in Castlewood's for a little over a year and have never had any major problems (knock on wood). I lived here when someone got shot but ---- watch the news ---- like that happens everyday, everywhere. I live here with my two young children and have never been afraid of uncomfortable living here. I agree about the walls and floors being thin...the neighbors above me sound like elephants. I also agree that the children are out of control but look at their parents...they're a product of their home environment. I see eight and nine years old out after 12 am and wonder where there parents are and why they aren't home and in bed. I'm a single parent and unfortunately this is all I can afford for the size. I have a large two bedroom/two bath and only pay $668 per month. Who can beat that' I have my home nicely decorated and am happy to come home. Yes, this complex is lower income or income subsidized but I would rather live here than a truly ghetto neighborhood crawling with roaches and falling apart. It's true that you get what you pay for but I don't regret moving here.
