Be careful of not getting what you thought you'd get

I'm a new resident at The Harbor (haven't moved in yet) and was told I'd have a 3BR on the first floor with wood floors. We viewed the same apartment on the 2nd floor. The floorplan that was given to us (and is also on their website) states: "First floor has larger master bathoom". At our walk-through, we discovered that the first floor did, in fact, have a larger master bathroom, however it was because they got rid of the walk-in closet. All first floor apartments have to be handicap accessible, so for the 3BRs, there isn't a walk in closet. It's a tiny closet in the bathroom itself (which means not enough ventilation to keep out moldy and mildew smell from the water and steam on your clothes).
We're still moving, after they've agreed to give us a different apartment on the 2nd floor. But we can't be on the first floor (something we specifically wanted) or have wood floors (again, something we wanted) - all because we needed a closet.
