Not so great

Though two months notice is the standard time apartment complexes ask for before moving out, they were completely unflexible. Me and my husband had decided to renew our lease. However, they raised the rent again (for the second year in a row) and it was too expensive. Unfortunately, they announced this in January and our lease was up at the end of February. We had to pay a ridiculous amount of money to stay for an extra month and a half. It was completely unfair and they gave us no time to actually think the decision through. I was not happy with that at all. It was not our fault.
