About the only thing to keep management happy is paying your bills on time. The trash builds up at the front of the complex. The gates never work until someone gets something stolen from their car. (I would know bc they send notices on our doors about theft. And any knowledge in this crime, who to contact.) I can always hear the loud base coming from my neighbors, yet I had to give my dog away for barking. My other neighbors have a tendancy to lock each other out, so they're always banging on the doors trying to get in. Don't even get me started with the leaf blowers in the morning. I've had objects stolen from my laundry, and even had my laundry taken out to dry someone elses (they used my money I put in to dry my clothes to dry their own clothes.) Pool is ridden with college students getting drunk and little annoying kids. Most dog owners don't even pick up after their dogs waste.

Oh if you don't get a spot nearby your apartment you have to walk a distance from your car to your apartment. It's very scary with all the bushes, poor lighting, and open gates.

For a college student this is much better than dorms, or off campus housing. So it's hard to complain. But it's still very expensive and every new lease is an increase in rent of approx. $60.

So if you're a family trying to find a place, just remember this is an apartment, but at least it's not filled with low lifes.
