Decent but a little loud

Having lived here for four years, I was only somewhat disappointed to leave. The parking is decent depending on where you live. If you are in the heart of the complex right on the main road, then parking sucks because there just are not enough spaces and the "reserved" spots are all that's left. Make sure to get a unit in the back or off to the sides.

If you like it quiet, you certainly don't want to be down front or near the play ground area, and especially no where near the pools in the summer. Down front you can hear the motorcycles from the Hooters every Thursday, especially when there are no cops present. Also, children playing tends to echo off the buildings so if you're facing the pool or any play area you will hear it.

As for noisy neighbors, the apartments are poorly insulated and you will hear the NFL party next door or even a quiet party from your neighbors. I could hear every door that closed in my building and any barking dogs. Also, because there were a number of Full Sail and UCF students living there, party's were becoming the norm. Be sure to get a unit on the upper floors unless you like hearing them up and down the stairs .

The management was decent and there were some changes after the three hurricanes. They did get back to me within a day for maintenance issues that came up and most were solved within a day or two. The only exception was when my AC went out in mid June on a Friday and I spent the weekend with friends because they didn't get it fixed until Monday. Tammy and Kelly in the office were really nice and professional about it and pro-rated my rent for the days I vacated the apartment.

All in all its a decent place to rent if you're single our a couple, but if you have a family I recommend shopping around for a house. It's possible to find houses for rent for the same or less than their two or three bedroom units.
