I've lived at Newport Colony for almost three years, and overall been pretty satisfied. Like other reviewers, I am concerned that the place is slowly going down hill, the lawncare people really do take too much time, and more and more loud/noisy people seem to be moving in. But compared to a lot of other places it is quite nice, good amenities, friendly maintenance and staff. They may become much nicer once they are done with the construction improvements, which started in January. Don't move in here until they are done with whatever building you would move into, the construction guys seem to be taking a LOT of time to get the projects done, which includes replacing siding and building screened-in porches. They haven't started working on my building yet, hopefully I will be out before they do, because it will be a nightmare.
