Appearances Deceive...

Unfortunately, I cannot verify whether some of the previous ratings are true, because my wife and I never even ended up moving in to these apartments. But after dealing with the people in the office, I wouldn't be surprised at anything. This apartment complex has the absolute worst staff I have ever dealt with.
My wife and I thought that this would be a nice place to live, so we put down a deposit and the application fee for the "priority wait list". This was our first mistake. I don't know what their definition of "priority" is, but when I put a deposit down 5 months ahead of time to reserve an apartment on the first floor with a fireplace and a lakeview and end up getting an apartment on the second floor with no fireplace as far from the lake as possible, I get kind of angry.
Don't even bother trying to call and ask the staff a question, because every single time, they will say "Can I have someone call you back on that'" and then you will never get a call. This is the only thing about this complex that you can rely on...you will NEVER get a returned phone call. Not only that, but even when you walk into the office they are usually with another customer, giving them an excuse to brush you off and ask you to come back later. I'm sorry, but I don't enjoy driving 20 minutes just to be told to "come back later."
To top it all off, the staff has absolutely no problem with being bold-faced liars. The last straw for us was when we found out that not only was our apartment not at all what we wanted, but we also had to resubmit some information JUST to get our application approved. This was when we went out and found an apartment elsewhere. Once that was done, I called Reflections to request my deposit back, and they had the nerve to tell me that, since our application had been approved already, they could not refund our money to us. The only thing is, unless the application fairy fluttered into their office and magically filled in the missing information on our application, there is no way that our application could have been approved. We had never bothered to resubmit the information they needed because we no longer had any intention of moving there. They said they had received the info by fax, but interestingly enough, when we requested they fax the info back to us, they mysteriously couldn't find it. So here we are, out $200.
Hopefully my horror story is enough to keep you good people away from this festering hellhole. My goal with this post is to deter as many people as possible away from Reflections, because when a company operates like they do, they deserve to go bankrupt. And I'll be the first one to throw a big party when they do...

You are a very stupid individual and you should be ashamed of yourself for wishing a business would close just because you were a spoiled brat that didn't get your way! I have news for you buddy.... they are still open so what good did this little tyrant do?
