not a good experience!

Where to begin......This place is just incredibly awful. All of the way from the staff to the apartments and the community's pest control. The apartments are outdated and if you live on the ground floor be prepared to fight off every type of pest you can think of. At one point we had red ants coming up through our bath tub drains. We are very neat and tidy people, as I don't like bugs, I don't give them a reason to be around. Granted this is FL and I know that the bugs have12 months out of the year to grow, however, if the complex had some type of pest control in place there wouldn't be as many bugs around. The red ants aren't even the worst of it. The sugar ants here are horrible and when you go and complain they give you these little ant traps that the ants laugh at. Not to mention the widow spiders...yeah, thats right, I said WIDOWS. The walls in the apartments look like they were never cleaned, just painted over. They are all bumpy with lint like material poking through them. Its just disgusting here. No matter how many traps you set out or how many times you spray your windows with the bug stuff they just keep coming in. Doesn't that say something about the pest control here'
The staff here are horrible. They are absurdly rude. We have been trying to get out of our lease since December. They repeatedly told us there was a "no break your lease" clause to our contract, which I must be getting blind because I couldn't find that on the contract AT ALL. They never did their research, they just bluntly said no and acted like you were a nuisance. So when we finally wrote the AIMCO company to find out for sure that we weren't allowed to break our lease, oh geesh, we were allowed to terminate it with only just one months rent fee. LIARS! This is all just the tip of the iceberg. When we were trying to get rental verification for our new place, they wouldn't give it after we terminated the contract and paid all the fees and signed the paper work, which mind you-we had copies of it all. When we confronted them, they tried to tell us that we never paid our March rent or terminated our lease. The lady said that she had our paper work in front of us...which is funny cause I had all of the copies of the rent that we paid also. We got the, "oh, wait. I just found it. You did pay the termination fee and the rent." So people, I will let you know that this is the 7th ring of hell and I am letting you know that its worth it to shop around to find some place more worth your time and money to rent! I don't normally ever review anything on the internet but this place must have a warning intact with it! Oh, one more thing....its next to a swamp, so if you do rent here, be prepared to have the smell of musty crap be the first thing you smell when you walk out your door, EVERYDAY!

You're damn right I broke my lease. I'll tell you what...FL was filled with absolute scumbags that didn't know a thing about common sense or courtesy. Sounds like you fit right in there. Why don't you get your facts straight. Oh and by the way, as a travel nurse, I move around a lot so I know a bad apartment complex when I see one considering how many states I have lived in. Sorry you are too ignorant...I mean you have never had a bad experience once in your life, right????

It sounds like you are just trying to break your lease to me.
Grow up, be responsible and if you sign a lease you need to know to adhere to it.
