Counting Down The Days Till My Lease Is Up

I've lived at Reflections for just under 2 years and one of the biggest reasons I've stayed so long is due to it's convenient location between my place of work and the University of Central Florida. During my time at Reflections I've seen the office staff experience more turn-over than most retail/grocery jobs, I've watched the 'gate' be broken and open more than it is ever closed, I've experienced getting eviction notices on my door every other month (when I've never EVER paid rent past the 1st of each month), I have neighbors that stomp up the stairs to their 2nd and 3rd floor apartments and it sounds like an earth quake because the stair case is right outside of my living room and the apartments have paper thin walls, I don't need an alarm clock on the weekend because like clock work my neighbor will walk her little dog right outside my apartment window and it will just bark non-stop at roaming ducks and sometimes leaves that fall from the tree out front...BUTTTTT my all time personal FAVORITE reflections experience thus far has been listening to my upstairs neighbor's bed repeatedly slam against my ceiling every other night when he has an hour long sex session with his gf/bf' at 11:30 at night...then of course it's time for a shower...and trust me the sound of LOUD running water and toilet seats slamming down is a very soothing way to be lulled to sleep!
I have never made any complaints to the office because it's not worth it. The first 6 months I lived there they couldn't even get me a door number so why would I think they would actually do anything about noise! HA. They can barely keep track of who pays rent every month...because if your like me and pay rent early each month you'll really throw the management for a loop. You may even wind up with a cool little eviction notice on your door as a reward! Not to worry though...if this does happen you can just go down to the office and spend 30 minutes as they research your account and wind up with a "Oh we're sorry about that! Looks like you did pay on the 28th of the month. We must have just missed your payment! Sorry!! :) :)" They would never say to you "don't worry this won't happen again"...because guess what!' Most likely it will! lol
I won't even get into the roaches. Hope you have a cat!
The final wonderful aspect about reflections I shall enlighten you about it the insulation. It's questionable whether there actually is any because you will spend rediculous amounts of money trying to keep your unit cool. Most of the ac's are old and the air just doesn't circulate well in the apartment. We've tried to remedy the situation by purchasing fans to get the air flowing and that has seemed to help. Prior to the fans though our living room was always freezing and our bedroom was atleast 5-8 degrees warmer.
Everyone will have their different opinions of reflections I'm sure and thats fine. This is just my experience to date and I'm just personally very happy that in 2 short months I'll be free of the Reflections Apartments. Their motto is "Stop Looking, Start Living," ...I'd highly recommend you do just that.
Stop looking into Reflections apartments and start living somewhere other than here!
