I moved in the summer of 2004, My husband and I checked out apt. ratings before moving in and was leary about moving from reading the reviews but we did anyway. The management and staff have been very nice to us, I have heard they they aren't the best but they treat us well. Any problems in our apt. we're fixed immediately when we first moved in and now it might take a day which is good for apts. When I first moved in their were almost no bugs, 1 or 2 which is going to happen when you live in florida, so no big deal. Now I have little bugs coming under my counters and drains and by my trash, ( I KEEP A SUPER CLEAN HOUSE SO IT"S NOT FROM FOOD OR GARBAGE)not to mention the roaches in the bathrooms and living rooms and the one crawling up my leg while I was sitting on the couch watching t.v. I have called but not sure if anything has been done since I still have them. And my Air conditioner is broke and they came and supposedly fixed it but I still have a $150 electric bill and the thermostat is set at 78 degrees and is broke since it runs all the time but they say its the coolest apt in the complex....and my dishwasher has been "fixed" many times but even now it doesn't leak very bad but it doesn't drain the water very well everytime, but that could be because the dishwasher is from the 1970's...but overall the apts are nice if you don't have bugs, i was super happy with sunshadow till the bugs came crawling through my door and everywhere else, so I might give this apartment another rating and rate it the best when there are no bugs living in my apt.
