This place looks real pretty on the outside, but the reality is that it is a really screwed up place to throw your money away at. The noise is never ending. Barking dogs, a million screaming kids, parties on the weekends and so on and so on. If you complain about anything, the management staff will make your life miserable. They are a little group of miserable menapausal witches. I call them the menapausal mafia. They watch out for each other and don't really care about the tenants. As the other reviewer stated, I got no satisfaction with the corporate office either. They all cover each others backs. Maintenence was an issue too. You have to repeatedly complain to get things fixed. It gets old real fast. The pool was always dirty. Lots of --- guys wearing disgusting thongs at the pool. They are not supposed to , but management will not enforce thier own rules. That's the biggest problem. They don't police anything and it is basically a free for all. The walls are literally four inches thick with minimal insulation. I heard every cough and fart my neighbor made. The police are constantly cruising through the complex. It was rediculous. Celebration officials go to great lengths to supress any negative press about the town, so that's why you can't get truthful info about places like Gables. It really does suck, big time! Don't throw away your money at this hell hole. Shop elsewhere. And if you must live there, don't sign a one year lease. Do a seven month only. I wanted to leave after the first week. Once you sign that lease, your are on your own.
