My family lived in Gables North Village for seven months last year. We had a three bedroon townhouse. The noise outside was unbeleivable. The parking lot was used as a giant playground for about twenty five unsupervised out of control kids. Everyday after school until about seven o clock all you heard was these kids screaming for hours. They drove around on their bikes destroying the landscaping and banging into cars. There was no supervision at all. You never saw a parent anywhere. We complained to the office, but they refused to do anything about it. They told us that kids have a right to play. Thats fine, but you don't have a right to disturb our peace or damage our cars. We are paying rent also.

We could also hear our neighbors every move coming right through the walls. From other reviews we have read, this seems to be on par with what other folks have gone through. Shoddy cheap construction.

The office staff is really not very helpful when it comes to neighbor noise issues. We got no satisfaction what so ever. Their whole attitude change after the second time we went in to complain. After that, they were very unfriendly and unprofessional. These were the same women who sat there with smiles on their faces when we were signing the lease.

It has been several years since we were forced to live in an apartment again. We only did it because we were having a house built in Celebration and we were trying to conserve our money. This experience reminded us how miserable apartment dwelling is. If you are in a similar situation, try to find a house to rent. There are plenty in the area.

Also be advised that there have been multiple strong arm robbery attempts in North Village. The most recent put a resident in the hospital with head injuries and broken fingers. I am glad we got out of there.

We would not recomend Gables to any one. There are other options in the area.
