We are leasing a condo in one of the perimeter buildings of the mirasol with a second floor balcony overlooking the interior parking lots and next to the main entrance. We are impressed by the soundproofing that has gone into this building. When we open an exterior door or window, it is easy to hear the traffic of Celebration Avenue, the main street through Celebration. When the doors are closed, the only sound is our A/C fan or whatever noise we may make within. The walkways, balconies, and entrances are fully (and heavily) screened to eliminate any insects within the interior.

Joanne is our rental agent and delightful. Michael is the weekday concierge and has gone well out of his way to accommodate our needs or make difficult arrangements simple. Our weekend concierge is a sweet woman who loves it when we stop by the saturday morning coffee clatch with our pet parrots in the courtyard. I am having a senior moment on the name of the building manager; but she has shown a great deal of flexibility, within the owners limits, to make our adjustments to our new home and careers much easier; when a less gracious manager could have made our life changes very difficult. The building maintenance staff has gone out of their way to introduce themselves and immediately care for any need we have had.

If I have any complaint, it is that the Mirasol is so strongly constructed, we had a hard time receiving a cellular signal unless we go out on our deck. The concrete with reinforcing steel is a pretty good barrier to cell phone signals; but a great barrier for the worst weather that our Florida location may throw at us. I also wish that animals (namely our parrots) were allowed in the main building or out by the pool with us. We understand, though, that if a rule is made for any pet it must extend to all pets. Every pet owner considers their pet to be perfect, it is just that ours really are :-)

We love taking our evening walks to downtown celebrationa and sitting along the water front chatting with every passerby and family. I work at Walt Disney World and my partner is a doctor at the Dr. Phillips Hospital just a few minutes away. We are able to return to our home in Celebration and escape back into a quiet, friendly, and continually interesting world.

As far as parking, there have been a couple of times when the parking was so full that we had to park 100 feet from out building entrance instead of the 50 feet we are used to. I can always see my car from any of my windows.

I really don't know where this horrible place is located that some other people have written about here; but it isn't at the Mirasol at Celebration. We would have left in a heartbeat if it were anything close to what they have described. We live here specifically because it is so warm, friendly, quiet, and beautiful.

Glad you're happy, we had a miserable time at Mirasol and did have a lot of noise intrusion in our apartment.
