I broke my lease after just 6 months in this ridiculous building. I can agree with about 98% of the negative comments you will or may have read on this site. I would like to add the problem with theft inside the building. Possibly due to the lack of security measures or could also be the lack of supervision for outside workers entering the building. I am not the only person that has had their storage unit that each apartment has on every floor literally ransacked. When I reported the theft incidents to the staff (Three times) they did not care. I asked to see the surveillance videos and they told me that they do not record from the cameras. The report I filed with 880 Mandalay was either tossed into the trash or put where it would never be read. If you were planning on moving here (Huge mistake) I would replace the hinge on the storage unit door to accommodate a much larger lock (so it does not get cut off by a thief). Oh, I almost forgot, make sure you are home when the staff leaves a letter informing you that someone will need to enter your apartment. That's just a bit of advice but hey; If you are one of those people that need to find out for yourself' Good luck to you...
