To update readers of this site, let me explain major improvements to the 880 MANDALAY "APTS". In January 2004 the apartments were converted to CONDOMINIUMS.
The developer was required to make major improvements to the property costing millions of dollars. Now, the property is more up-to-date than other condos existing in 2003 that have had little work done. Individual owners of an existing condo would have been hit with too big a special assessment which they would never have approved. Here, it's been accomplished. Of course, more work is always needed!
Mechanical systems were updated or replaced. A huge electrical generator was installed to operate elevators, water circulation,lighting and some condominium functions during a power outage.
The location on the north beach of Clearwater Beach is the finest location in the country. The huge pool is wonderful. The views magnificent!

I'm interested in renting a studio on the ground floor. Have been to a couple of them in the past and it would work for me perfectly! I'm not big bucks, actually I'm a server/bartender at the Columbia Sand Key for the past 10 years and Clearwater Beach Hotel the 8 years before that.
