My boyfriend and I have lived here for about 6 months. For the first 4 months the main problems were maintenance related. Our disposal broke and the entire sink had to be replaced, the dryer broke, the toilet broke, the air is STILL broken (they've been here 3 times and insist nothing is wrong even though the thermostat says 60 degrees in the summer). Our blinds were so cheap they cracked and broke in the sun and had to be replaced.

The last few months have been a nightmare. We have acquired new neighbors, who apparently were not put through ANY sort of screening. We can't open our patio door most of the time, because the people next us are LOUD chainsmokers and the smoke filters into our apartment. The people on the other side have a penchant for playing LOUD music at all times of the day and having screaming matches at 5am. THe people above us yell at their child at all times, be it in the apt, out in the courtyard, whatever. Their child also leaves his toys ALL over the place. We are paying $800 a month rent for this crap' The apartments are loud and cheap, you can hear your neighbor flushing the toilet and phones ringing next door. The tile floors don't help.

Also, we've also had problems w/management regarding the water bill. They keep sending us late notices when we've paid. We have confirmed through the water company the payments have been recieved, but we still get late notices. There is only ONE dumpster on our side of the building, and parking is a joke. The charming new tenants they've allowed in leave their TRAILER hitches in parking spaces. I feel like an absolute idiot for not checking this place out further. I don't see how they passed building code, and I can't believe how much we're paying them a month. It's tempting to just up and leave. Maybe all the unhappy tenants should post this website address on the leasing office door so potential victims are warned!
