My boyfriend and I have lived at Audubon Villas for 2 years now and I happen to be in the same industry of work as the leasing agents. We have been through the ups and downs of apartment renting, but most of our time at Audubon Villas has been a positive experience.



It seems to me that many of the people complaining about these issues have NEVER rented before. I have always lived in an apartment and even though many of these complaints may be somewhat accurate....they happen at ALL APARTMENT COMMUNITIES.



I have never lived where parking wasn?t a problem at times, where a work order may take a little longer to get to, where a leasing person may not be the friendliest on occasion and where the rent may go up. It happens and the only way to avoid it in all honesty is to buy a house.



Anyone who has lived here in the small amount of time I have has to have seen the good qualities of this community, not to mention all the changes. Also, anyone who has been here for more than a year would know that the maintenance staff (which you should know by name since there are only three and wear their names on their shirts) are always informative and helpful. Not everything is at their fingertips but they will try their best to get it done in a short time.

The leasing staff is as nice as possible, but I will tell anyone reading this that it is very difficult to keep a smile on your face when someone is being outright nasty - and from reading some of these complaints that others have wrote they are not the best at people skills. I?ve been there. "You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar" - and that goes for residents as well.



I take great offense to others talking about my home in a distasteful manner. I love it here, it?s my residence and for the few that do not enjoy it and make life hell for others, LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!
