Why am I paying for things I can not use'

Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2004
I am trying to find out what rights do we have as far as use of things like the fitness center,basketball court,pool,and the other amenities we thought we would be allowed to use when we signed our lease. The lease doesn't state anything about these. I didn't complain when they renovated them or closed them whenever they wanted to but,it was 4:45pm on a Tuesday and I couldn't workout or play basketball,the doors were deadbolted and I was told by the "SALES CENTER" that "SHE",apparently some lady, is in charge of the rec.center and they know nothing. Thanks for letting me vent,now,does anyone happen to know what rights WE have as RENTERS OF APARTMENTS,CONVERTING OVER TO CONDOS IN PINELLAS COUNTY IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA IN THE YEAR 2004'
