Moved into the complex on short notice in May. Told leasing agent ahead of time that we were interested in short term lease as we are in the military and would be leaving @ the end of the summer. Ending lease early not a problem with orders and sufficient notice. She even arranged a discounted pet fee, which was nice, as she knew that we would only be there a few months.

Unfortunately, she was "promoted" to another property and some new folks came into the office. They were flighty and disorganized, but pleasant none-the-less. We had problems with their credit card charging company...rent didn't get pd until the middle of the month, but we were never charged a late fee...I had to repeatedly ask to make sure our payment was processed... and to get a receipt for our travel claim each month, which was tiresome, as it was supposed to be automatically taken care of. Had also inquired about renting the club house, and asked about twice a week for several weeks, until we gave up and made alternate arrangments. Agent finally got the info to us... like 2 weeks after our function... so that was frustrating but a small issue, in my opinion. Finally, we moved out, with notice... and received a certified letter that we were being charged a carpet cleaning fee... and the staff was unable to tell us what was in such dire condition that it required a professional cleaning... they will only investigate this if we "dispute" the charge. We are not pleased about this, as when we moved in, we documented stains on the carpet that were THERE, that WE CLEANED... and I have concluded from the conversation with the agent that the carpets are NOT professionally cleaned prior to move in, which I feel should be a common occurance... along with painting... so everything is fresh for the new tenant. That is disappointing... but if you read this, you may want to push for it before you sign the lease... claim allergies... or something!!

I am NOT disappointed in our stay... it met our needs in the short term, however, I feel on some level that they may be taking advantage of the fact that we broke the lease early without penalty, and had to find something to charge us for "legally." Because of our military status and orders, we were able to get out without penalty... and since we are now out of state, it is easier for them to do. Overall, I am pleased. I would recommend leasing here... HOWEVER, forewarned is forearmed.
