The apartments are a little small for what you are paying but the location makes up for that. The grounds are kept up very well and are better than most places. Office staff when we first moved in was great, they were always very helpful with whatever was needed as well as was the maintenance crew. However, recently the office staff was completely replaced. The new staff is very abrupt and rude. They have also caused problems by placing wrong materials on apartment doors. When you go to the office to ask a question they generally don't know and also don't seem to know where the resources are to find an answer. They also began recommending that you use their online payment system. We decided to give it a try, everything went through, the payment posted to our account and then two weeks later we get notice from the management company that we have an outstanding balance for the month on our account and to pay in two days in upper case letters. I had no idea what the letter was for so I called the complex office. They said that I had not paid rent until the 15th of the month and to call the Administrator for the complex. When I called her she said that the computer system said we didn't pay the rent until the 3rd of the month. (Keep in mind that the 3rd was a Sunday so that if we were going to pay late we could have dropped a check dated the 1st into the drop box and no one would have been the wiser). Well the administrator said that she could not do anything without me having written proof that it was paid on the 1st and threatened to ruin our credit if the late fee wasn't paid by the next day! Lets just say that they are in for a long legal battle and we won't be renewing our lease, which we planned on doing. A shame that a good place has to get run down by a few less than desireables.
