PLEASE read all reviews before moving in here. They are no joke. The apartments are okay. The location is great. But the management are criminals. The main corporation UDR won't help you if you become a victim either. Each manager at the various properties that they own have absolute power of the property. Essentially they are the CEO's of the property and they can manage and run at their will. In the case of Bay Meadows, their "CEO" is ---------------- who will try to rob you at every turn. She can and she will, and when she does, UDR corporate will do nothing to help you.

So please the head the advise of others and myself who have been robbed by Bay Meadows. Otherwise just work into your move out budget an extra grand in theft fees.

He is right but they are not getting my money. I retained an attorney and they are the ones that will pay me.

I too rented there and was a victim of a crime in my apartment. I gave a move out notice of 30 days and then I was advised I would need to give a 60 day notice. I had police reports, etc.. and now Bay Meadows has taken me to collections for not giving a 60 day notice. I went to management and explained that I would be leaving because I was in fear for my life and still they wanted me to pay for the extra month or just pay to complete my lease. I had a victims advocate from the Pinellas County Sheriffs Deptarment contact Bay Meadows management and the management still wanted me to pay even thugh I only had ONE month left. I gave a 30 day notice and then was told, I would need to give a 60 day notice. Needless to say, I broke my lease, ran for my life and never looked back. They have ruined my credit and I was a victim of a crime in one of their apartments. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER move here.

I lived at Bay Meadows in 2001 then had to leave the state so I moved out in 2008, I just moved back in and I have never had any problems with the complex or the people that work in the office. I find it funny that everyone posting on this site is unhappy and says all this bad stuff about the complex, people or company but if you read between the lines they have all done something wrong. Left apartments dirty, moved out but did not give proper notice. I love that with any company thee only people that say anything bad are the ones that can not have done anything wrong? I am very happy to call this my home, I enjoy the people in the office. People that are reading this site think about it when do you every post anything on the internet or send a nice letter about a staff member that did something nice. When was the last time you talked to someones manager because you had good service? Now the happy people do not post on the internet do they? Some do but most do not. Go to the complex and when you are looking arond stop and talk to us, the people that live at Bay Meadows, the ones of us that have moved out and returned. Or you can go by what other people say that could be nothing like you. Do you trust people that you do not even know? Good luck to you.
