I lived at Bay Meadows in 2001 then had to leave the state so I moved out in 2008, I just moved back in and I have never had any problems with the complex or the people that work in the office. I find it funny that everyone posting on this site is unhappy and says all this bad stuff about the complex, people or company but if you read between the lines they have all done something wrong. Left apartments dirty, moved out but did not give proper notice. I love that with any company thee only people that say anything bad are the ones that can not have done anything wrong' I am very happy to call this my home, I enjoy the people in the office. People that are reading this site think about it when do you every post anything on the internet or send a nice letter about a staff member that did something nice. When was the last time you talked to someones manager because you had good service' Now the happy people do not post on the internet do they' Some do but most do not. Go to the complex and when you are looking arond stop and talk to us, the people that live at Bay Meadows, the ones of us that have moved out and returned. Or you can go by what other people say that could be nothing like you. Do you trust people that you do not even know' Good luck to you.

Sorry SurfBoy21, I would have to disagree with you about your review. Although you may have had a more favorable experience, everything I wrote in my review was 100% accurate and I had pictures to back up my claims. Despite my photographs showing that damage to the carpet was due to a water leak coming from the outside wall, not pet stains as they claimed, they still wanted me to pay to replace the entire carpet. They never sent me certified mail to notify me of claim against my deposit and the only way I found out was getting a letter from a collection agency. I had to repeatedly threaten to take the apartment complex to court to get the matter resolved. I have no problem admitting my faults and mistakes, but in this instance Bay Meadows was entirely in the wrong and deserving of a much worse review than I gave them. Multiple people have responded with similar situations (a pattern perhaps?). I moved out in 2007 and can only hope that Bay Meadows and United Dominion Properties have changed for the better. I also hope that they fixed that leak in apartment 1601 so they don't stick the subsequent renter of that apartment with a carpet replacement fee. God knows I have given Bay Meadows ample notice. Anyone considering renting from Bay Meadows, please feel free to email me at plottsk@hotmail.com if you want to know more about my experience there.

Why does Surfboy21 put so much emphasis on everyone elses review? I still live here and for the most part it is fine. He needs to understand that not all people are treated the same. I've lived here over five years and in that time it has really begun to grate on me how often the staff will walk right past me and not say a word unless I say something to them first. They are in the hospitality business & I think it is not only rude but bad business to ignore people on the property. I wonder if Surfboy isn't some member of staff?
