Don't move here!

This place is going condo shortly. The new owners who promised new paint, landscaping, etc., are fixing it up to make it more attractive to condo buyers.
Actually, since they bought the place months ago, nothing has been done. The landscaping is awful since the sprinklers haven't worked in a year, so it looks terrible compared to when I moved in 3 years ago.
Leases will not be renewed and tenants are month-to-month until we are told to leave.

I live at Country Place and LOVE IT. I just went to the office last week and the ladies are renewing leases. In fact, I just signed a 12 month lease. I will admit that the landscaping has gone down, but management told me the plans for the future and this stuff takes time. If this place goes condo it won't be for awhile if they are signing leases. If you are so unhappy here, why are you still living here?? I have lived here for 6 years and have watched the complex go up and down. I can see that it is starting to clean up again and I am excited to live here at least another year. Look at the complexes in the area - this apartment complex is by far the nicest. To those people who have read the "Don't move here" letter, I suggest you ignore them - they probably just got mad at the office or something and are venting. Take it from me, I've lived here for 6 years and have always been very happy - if this place does go condo, maybe I will buy!

THIS RESPONSE IS COMING FROM AN EMPLOYEE'S FAMILY MEMBER. THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO POST ON THIS SITE ARE TICKED OFF RESIDENTS THAT HAVE BAD CREDIT AND CAN'T GET A HOME LOAN AND ALL OF THE NICE REVIEWS ARE FROM EMPLOYEES AND/OR THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS. THIS IS A FACT.

I spoke to the manager myself in August and was told they haven't let anyone sign a lease in a couple of months. I enjoy optimistic people, but in this case, your optimism is misplaced. Wake Up!!

I, too, really enjoy living here. We have had no problems in the 2 years we have lived here. My only concern is that we are being told nothing. I realize that not renewing leases is a sure sign of going condo, but a time line would be nice. I would just like to know when we need to leave. I don't want to jump ship because I really like it here, but I also don't want to wait and miss out on another opportunity that might not be available when we have to go. MANAGEMENT- let your tenants know what is going on!!
