We just moved in to this complex a short while ago. We regret the decision and have several months to go. Management cannot keep their paperwork straight, and they will ask you to come back 100 times because they are never close to being prepared. The apartment itself is ok, but as others have stated it was not clean when we moved in and several items were broken, and worn. The bathroom "fans" are not even real, which i believe may cause a fire hazard. Also, I recommend getting any and all paperwork signed by the employee who you speak with, as we were told our rent was one amount, only to change after a lease was signed. They also seem to have a problem keeping track of rent checks and are quick to leave a note at your door stating that you must now pay 100 dollars extra because it is late, even when you pay on time. also, don't tell them your bringing a pet until your absolutely sure that you are because we changed our mind before we moved in and 2 months later we were asked to pay our pet fee, surely just another "oversight." One positive is that the neighbor hood is nice and the other tenants seem to be very friendly, and the parking is decent. I have rented for several years and have never encountered such unprofessionalism and shady business practices. As soon as our lease is up, we're out of here.

I can't beleive how many people have gone out of their way to post negative comments about this place....it's great that there is at least an outlet where we can vent our frustrations and hopefully make others aware that moving in to Melrose on the Bay (just try to find the water) is a very, very bad idea. they really are a horrible management team.

I'll tell you where the water is....flooding the parking lot by building 1538!!! Moved out of there months ago so not sure if they corrected the problem yet, but the water was so deep the ducks could swim in it!!! and then your parking spaces would be flooded and if you didn't get home before everyone else, you'd lose a dry spot and have to wade to your apartment! I have plenty of pics of it.
