WARNING... MOLD GROWS IN THESE APARTMENTS!!! They sort of "warned" us when we signed the lease, but we didn't really think much of it. Just within the past few months mold has been growing around ALL of the windows. The windows are OLD and REALLY need to be replaced. Condensation forms on the inside of the windows almost daily and causes BLACK MOLD to grow. It's nasty and there's nothing you can do about it except clean, clean, clean every week. The bathrooms aren't ventilated and the apt gets musty unless you open all the windows every few days. I'm starting to get sick because of the toxic mold. It's a pain to clean. Never had to deal with this before and I've lived in Florida my ENTIRE LIFE.
By the way, still don't have a copy of the lease. The office staff is very unorganized.
We have a leaky toilet but haven't bothered to even ask them to fix it because there's really no use.
People let their dogs crap wherever they please and NEVER clean it up.
They painted before we got here and there's paint on everything from the carpet to the mirrors.
The carpet wasn't installed properly and is peeling away from the walls.
WE HAVE THE OLDEST AND SMALLEST FRIDGE IN HISTORY. It's RUSTED - asked for a new one, but they never made an effort.
The blond lady in the front office is a total flake. Don't trust her.
Can't WAIT to move the hell out of here!!!!

Quit Bitchin!!!! If you had half a brain, you would't complain about things that you can fix yourself. Why can't you be happy with having a roof over your head!!!! Some people don't have that. If you have mold on your windows its probly because you blast the AC constently, creating condensation on the windows. Didn't you ask to see the apartment before you moved in? If so, you saw the fridge and you said nothing.

I must agree with some of the things said here. Although our mold problem is relatively minor, people do let their dogs crap where they please and never clean up after them. That puts it on us to yell at people who go behind our apartment and use it for thier doggy bathroom. One guy even had the nerve to say "well it's not just me" like telling us to get used to it or something. We don't even have a dog and have to look at crap out of our window and open the windows? Not if we want our apartment to smell like ----!! It's rediculous! We've also had alot of really great neighbors but lately it's become partytime with the "F" bomb screamed 1,000 times up and down the street at all hours. It used to be quiet, but not any more. There is also little spots of paint on everything from the spray paint job that occured before we moved in which is pretty annoying because yeah this place is not luxury by any means, but I like to keep a clean house, not to mention the particle board cupboards that split if your upstairs neighbor happens to have a leak. On the other side when anything goes wrong we get it fixed pretty quickly. Just like any other place your going to have hassles. This is my experience. And to "Quit Bitchin" why should we have to fix anything ourselves, we pay our money to have the service so people can fix stuff for us. Hell, you probably work for MOTB.
