we moved out around january 24th 2009 and i spent two days after moving with my mom cleaning the place.. i even cleaned the carpets and replaced the blinds. the place was emmaculate when we turned in our key. we gave them a forwarding address and never heard anything until today when i got a call from a collections agency saying that i owe the place over $500 after they had to pay to have the place cleaned and carpets replaced. i never recieved my security deposit back (equivelent to one months rent) and i never had any mail from them delivered to the new place. when we were there are tub had to be resurfaced and they told us not to be there for a few hours so we scheduled it when my fiance and i were at work on a friday. when we got home at 11pm that night the fumes from the tub were so bad my fiance said he could get high off the toxic fumes, i was pregnant so we stayed at a friends house, we went back the next day to see if the fumes were gone and they werent so we got a hotel room since my fiance was on-call and needed internet which his friend didnt have. finally late that sunday the fumes were gone because we set up fans and left a few windows open. they didnt even prorate rent for the two days we couldnt stay there. it took them three months to get the tub fixed and thats with us calling constantly (id hate to see how much mold is under the tub). our ac broke a few times. the toilet/sewer line broke and backed up into our tub and we had to stay at my family's house or else use a bathroom in an empty apartment and deal with the smell from our bathroom. parking sucks. one spot per apartment. our one spot was right by a huge tree and bush and it never got trimmed making it hard to back up without seeing who was coming around the corner. and there werent alot of close guest spots.
