Oh my God!

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
I was tricked. I was shown a wonderful updated model. It was nice. I was happy. So I thought! I kept asking to see the apartment that my mother, my baby and I would be moving into. The lady kept saying it was not ready yet. Ok understandable. We finally got to see the apartment the day we signed the lease and ready to do the walk through. OH MY GOD! The apartment was not updated at all. The cabnets in the kitchen were falling apart and were old. The drawers in the kitchen were falling apart. The sink in the kitchen stayed clogged up. The AC unit froze up and water leaked all through the wall and down on the carpet, all of my babies toys got wet. The carpet stayed wet for two weeks until they finally got around to fixing it. The moister from the leak in the wall where the AC unit is created a hole in the wall. The conter tops had been spray painted black. The mirror in the bathroom was moldy, the tub was dirty, the window in the bathroom was stuck, it would not go down. The toilet leaked water around the bottom of the basin because it was not securly held down. It even wobbled when you sat down on it. The floors had stains on them and the lock to the front door got stuck so it was hard to get out the door. No lie. One morning I could not get out the door, because the lock would not turn. I had to get a screw driver to take the dead bolt lock off the door then kick the door to get out. The bushes and trees had grown so far over the side walk we had to walk through the grass just to get to the front door. My car even got broken into out there in the boondocks too. Oh last but not least! The DAMN BUGS! Wolf spiders as big as my hand, roaches, frogs, lizards and snakes. I felt like I was living in a jungle. I had to arm the apartment with cans of roach spray, boric acid and moth balls, to try to keep the critters out as much I could. It had been a nightmere. I was glad when the lease was up! Promises were made to fix the problems, but they never did. Or when they did fix a problem, they did a half a** job. Oh and the walls were so thin I could here the upstaires neighbors walking, talking and I even could hear them having sex. There was only one assigned parking spot, so my mother had to fight for a spot in guess parking, becuase other pople with two cars were parking in them too. I hope no one else makes the same mistake we did.
