The Aurora side of the complex is the cheap section. The complex needs speed bumps for the crazy drivers. Curbs would help update the streets too. Most important though is that it NEEDS ALOT of outside lighting!! It feels semi-safe at night but many times has a spooky feeling - what with people wandering around. Another big necessity are CLEAN laundry rooms, with MORE washers & dryers that ALWAYS WORK!!! They just repainted the apartments' buildings, but in these not-even-pretty Spanish colors, & at least 3 different colors per building; it just all looks AWFUL!!! Updating the faded pastel shades would have been much nicer. All of the new bushes & trees planting brought roaches; I've never had them in my apt. before. The place needs a monthly, HEAVY DUTY dose of pest control sprayed IN the woods chips - AND up inside the roof. That's where bugs are breeding!The appliances in these 20 yr old apartments are not so good anymore. We probably all need something new. The carpet REALLY REALLY needs to be replaced!!! There are strange lumps underneath; afraid it is mold, from rain coming in under the door. There are too many NOISY unattended kids running around without adult supervision. I'm surprised someone hasn't been abducted yet. The [mostly Spanish] teens are just rude!! Dog-owners let them run loose & poop anywhere... which is supposedly not allowed. There's the RUDE people who drive in, speeding through, car music blasting, or sit in the car with pounding stereo while tenants are trying to sleep.IF I could find an apartment with reasonable rent, [under $555 with washer/dryer, AND in a SAFE neighborhood], I'd move. But there are no other places in the whole Orlando area like that. I've talked to management about some of these things in the past; they have responded to a few things. I'd like to request - again - that they fix the piece of the tin roof - that makes alot of racket when the wind blows a bit too much, but most of the time, it feels like I'm bothering them if I call. And I'm tired of bitchin'.Being out here in the boonies, so far from Orlando - where 95% of job opportunities are - is not so good. Driving on Hwy 192 can be a pain; you never know what kind of traffic or accident you'll have to get past, when you're on your way to work. All in all - it's a semi-decent place but needs a few changes to make it a truly good place to live, so be aware.
