The only person you can deal with in the office is the office manager. The rent is overpriced for what you get. The pet deposit is outrageous. Fleas are unavoidable in the summer, whether you have pets or not. There are large dogs in the complex that are against policy. People who never paid a pet deposit still have pets in their apartments. To get the key to the apartment, you have to wait a week after you sign your lease. To get the mail key you have to beg and wait for a month and a half. They don't give you the information right away for phone services, and you can only get Internet access through Sprint DSL. You have to keep up yourself on changing your air filter, which isn't such a big deal, I guess. To get anything fixed, you're better off doing it yourself. They are neighbors who smoke pot, deal drugs, and run out in the middle of the night. There are shootings, and kids running wild and parents usually cease caring about their kids. Nobody realizes that a parking lot is not a race track. Neighbors are intentionally crashing into other vehicles for revengeful purposes. The cops are in the complex on a regular basis due to noise and other random and regular complaints. The late fees are ridiculous, and you get zero leeway, so I hope you get paid at reasonable times. They don't do background checks, they don't even check your job background. If everyone in your household earns 60,000.00 each go right ahead - the office claims they are a low-income housing development. The move-in bonus for $100.00 is the application fee, which is still ridiculous. Corporate will do nothing for you.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!! The one person who said Nelson Park was good - hasn't lived there long enough.
