Where to start is the question!

Well, where to start!

We moved in 01/2004, since then the property manager has changed twice. Wait, the only property manager who tried to fix up the place and get rid of the problems just quit, because the owner decided to be a prick.
Maintenance is not allowed to fix stuff in the apartments because they are always being sent to go "punch-out" apartments, because people are always skipping out on their lease or being evicted. Since January, my blinds have been broke, still waiting for maintenance. I feel as though I moved to a spanish oasis, because that is all I hear being spoke by residents and staff. The pool has not been up to code for 3 months now. Gated community my a**!!! The gate arm looks pretty good in the UP position. The walls are so thin that if your neighbor is having sex and is loud you can hear. That's all you need, a 3 yr old asking, "Daddy, Mommy, what's that noise'" Wanna answer that question'' Didn't think so. The on-property "courtesy cop" needs to go back to Hwy 50 and eat some more donuts at Dunkin Donuts after he smokes with one of the local posse. Tell him about the drug dealers and people who smoke pot on the stairs, he says, "Oh well, it's gonna be legal someday soon, so pass that s**t. You have people with dogs who wanna make sure their dogs crap where your kids try to play. Oh, but you might just get yelled at by one of your 1st floor neighbors saying that it was YOUR dogs that did it. (He finally came to his senses recently that it wasn't me) You can't send the kids to the playground to play, because they'll get yelled at by office staff for having fun. Where's the kids club'' MIA. Fitness Center my a**. It's like, how can you exercise with broken equipment that is from the 80's or maybe even the 70's! Everytime you do have a problem with a resident being too loud or threatning to kill you, your friendly office staff says to call the cops, you call the cops and they tell you to go tell the office staff. You can sit in your solurium and watch all the drug dealers smoke their stuff and the apartment complex hoes getting fu**ed. If you don't speak ebonics you won't be able to understand a thing you neighbor says until you piss them off, then they learn perfect English. Where is the lucious landscaping --- all I have in front of my apartment is patches of grass with lots of dirt and ants. The only place the landscaping is nice is around the office. Oh, they will tell you the maintenance crew is working on that, and the gate, as well as painting the building (which is to cover up the mold) but they still have not done that. Anyone and everyone can move in with a special of $99.00!!! I mean, you got felons living here, so how can they be doing a background check. How great of a price for such a wonderful place! (Yea, right!) Equal housing, yea ok, that's why every other month the rent is being raised again and again. This month (July) the cable is now $44.00 (which you don't have the choice to have), to rent the washer and dryer is $54.00, and the rent itself has gone up! So, how is this place a Equal Housing and/or a Low Income Housing''' All the money the owner gets for being equal housing, but is going to his fancy sports cars and who knows what else!!! (But, it surely isn't going toward his properties) Everyone complains about the kids-- but actually it should be the adults who think they are the ones who are still kids and hang out and party all hours of the night. Then, they complain when you are too loud at 1pm, because you woke them up. Tough ----!!! You deserve what you get for keeping my family up ALL night long, and into the morning hours. People with kids, BEWARE, you will love to bring your kids to the pool (when it is open) so you can see half-naked women in thongs and tiny tops. But, hey kids, don't wear your t-shirt while you are swimming, you will get yelled at for having too much clothing on. Maybe the health department will read this and know that July 5th while you were closed for the holiday, the office staff opened the pool. They said, "We can't get caught today since the health department is closed." They give you a Resident Handbook when you move in, and it goes on about:
-Access Gate Rules and Instructions on how to use it (doesn't work)
-Children's Club (don't got one)
-Pest Control (have really bad wasps nests, and ants around the complex)
-Trash "If trash is left outside your front door, you will recieve a $25.00 fine)
-"Good Neighbor Policy" ("To preserve your privacy, we do not permit solicitations." however, you got church groups, and the newspaper boys who come around every 2 weeks or so)
I would like to thank those who live around me who are quiet (which isn't very many) for, well, being such GREAT neighbors. (NOT!!!)
