Worst Experience Ever. You would be better in your car.

I rented a room for my son and his pregnant wife.

The room was for 2 nights.

The room had bugs, The attendant would not provide extra pillows, They charged for local calls, and The hot water faucet would not work for them to take a shower.

Any one of these would be bad enough but this is just absurd.

After being informed by my son of the condition of the room, I went to the hotel office.

I informed them of the problems and they did not attempt to make any amends.

They also refused to refund the money even for the un-used time.

We have stayed at the Dixie Motel on multiple occasions and have never experiences anything like this. It may just be that we stayed in a different part of the motel, but I just find all of this hard to believe. We stay all over the country in different hotels and find it very common to pay for local calls. It is a shame that hotel staff was not able to accomodate your needs. Perhaps next time you might offer to let your son, wife and grandchild stay in the comforts of your own home!!
