I have lived here for 2.5 almost yrs ..now 2007
Back when rent was 498 there is a water fee of 26 too so... 524. each yr the rent is raised. 550 was to much and many moved out because of that. But hey now it has been raised a second time to a ridiculous 575. That is higher than the 2 bedrooms here were! I liked it in the beginning ( more pros than cons) because there was a washer and dryer utility room with an attic and was peaceful the rent was right for what you had. The renters were nice too. but then forget about having anything fixed. But now for the first time we have a polite and friendly maintenance man who really knows what he is doing. I re-inerrant it takes along time to get things fixed. Also the a/c dose not cool efficiently. If you have the old models then your electric bill for a one bedroom will be as high as a house. one neighbor has a brand new one and it cools fine but the other management did not hook it up to the bedroom! 2 cars per unit equal looking for a space to park near your apt. dwelling. another downer is when it rains the parking lot floods..your shoes will need drying out. The biggest blow is the apt.s beside us went from ok to bad to worse. Those are indeviddually owened. Have LOUD music, police come out and yes I have heard gun shots there and it is ghetto have for the first time have them jumping over our fence to our side and back again. Some I was told buy a nice neighbor down the ways like to say to you on our side walking buy ..is your husband home' while walking buy to a girl sitting on her porch. Sometimes when it is not kids it is a drug deal they wait for a car to meet them..ON OUR SIDE! then they hop back over, destroying the wooden fence. Last but not least there are lower class of people moving in here. It is turning ghetto here. I plan to move for just a bit more I will have a swimming pool and a porch with a screen :D Found a rental 4 blocks from the beach in a 2 story for only 200 more. another apt for about the same as it is here now with pool etc...heck might as well go for the house rental they will probably raise the rent again........ They turned of the entry lights here too I used to recommend this place ..Not anymore.
