Because what you get is living in an unsafe place like Cypress Shores. We have had FOUR OR MORE squad cars here at 2 o'clock in the morning, on THREE separate occasions, every week for the past 4 weeks straight. The worst incident included having EIGHT squad cars, FOUR undercover vehicles, and the SWAT TEAM here at 7 o'clock in the evening. Imagine just getting home from a long day at work, wanting to come home, cook dinner, and relax and spend time with your children when you hear "GET AWAY FROM THE DOOR! GET AWAY FROM THE F*@#ING DOOR!!" BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG. (Flash bombs going off.) Something that just happens in the movies, you're probably thinking. No, it happened at CYPRESS SHORES, just 3 weeks ago. What was Cypress Shores stellar management's response to addressing the issue' A letter sent out the next day stating they were "sorry for the inconvenience." Not "We know last night's incident has made people feel unsafe, uneasy, etc. and here's how we're going to fix the problem" or "Due to last night's incident, the residents in question have been served an eviction notice." The problem was not fixed, because management simply doesn't care about their residents safety, contrary to what they claim. Saturday, November 21st, I woke up at 2 a.m. to sound of my next door neighbors fighting out in the parking lot, right outside our bedroom window. I looked out just in time to see the guy punching his girlfriend in the face. Had to call 911 - four squad cars showed up. This morning, November 30th, and 2:30 in the morning, to the sound of another girl yelling "You better get the f*@# out of here, I called the cops!" out in the parking lot. FIVE SQUAD CARS AND AN AMBULANCE showed up again, only to have the officers yell out through the parking lot "GET DOWN ON THE GROUND! WHICH ONE OF YOU HAS THE GUN'!!" Turns out another domestic dispute resulted in a woman ending up with a bloody lip. So now not only are we living with ghetto neighbors that never should have been approved to live here in the first place, but they obviously don't have jobs because they're up drinking at 2 a.m. on a Monday, they have bad tempers, AND they own a gun. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy, doesn't it' Pretty sad when you and your family can't go to bed with the windows open because you wake to the sound of domestic disputes spilling out into the parking lot. Not to mention, the question that has to be asked is, How many times do the police have to show up at the SAME apartment, week after week, before management ACTUALLY DOES SOMETHING about it and evicts them' You can't tell me these people had clean records before they moved in here. If you're desperate enough to fill out a lease application here and they tell you they run background checks, you can laugh in their face. My husband and I were approved in .0001th of a second, in person- all we had to do was show them a copy of ONE of our check stubs. NO BACKGROUND CHECK was performed. Any claim to the otherwise is an outright lie; something the management here is very good at. RUN, RUN, RUN THE OTHER WAY or you WILL be sorry.

and p.s. Wait for half-assed, generic, empty apology from property manager, in response to this, to follow.

If we have overlooked something, then I extend my apologies once again. Please let us know what has been incomplete and we would be happy to address those concerns. Thank you for the polite response to try to come off as a concerned member of management. However, if you had read carefully, you would see that I brought every single "need" to your office, and was continually brushed off with multiple excuses and "reasons", HENCE our frustrations. So why would I believe that this time would be any different? And does a tenant really have to post their frustrations on this website to finally have our concerns taken seriously?!
