I'm faintly sorry for being crass but you can (or will) hear the exact nanosecond that your upstairs neighbor's urine hits their toilet water. It's a stretch to call it a sound of nature but you might prefer chirping birds or when a tree falls in the forest. The very old ceilings and floors must have been made out of plywood.
