We have only lived here for a few short months. In this short time I have never been treated so badly. Maintenance is a huge issue. Nothing is ever fixed in a timely fashion. And they have a very poor attitude. Pests are a huge ongoing issue!I have seen the police here 5 times in only 3 months. Drugs have been openly smoked in the parking lot as well as fighting during the day and the office does nothing. Please trust me that this place is not a safe or suitable environment for you or your family to live. Before you make a mistake of a lifetime, Please go to the coconut creek Police station and get a print out of the crime in this apartment community. You will see the many times Police have had to respond to Cypress Shores for a multitude of Break ins, Drugs, Domestic Disputes, and Physical Violence. Just to name a few. Please don't take my word for it go to the Police station and get a print out. It is free!

Just to back up your claim, management (if you can call them that) recognized the crimes and once hired a resident who was an active duty policeman to patrol around the property every night or so and to respond to complaints. This was ENDED because the cop did not respond to any calls made to him and did very little. Only two times did he call back and the was the next day! The policeman also stated that he was given a very small discount from his rent for this service and felt management was so petty that he too wanted to terminate the role. Even during this short period, the Coconut police had to be called a number of times. They were at my building no less than 35 times in the last couple of years! Another management screw up. They desperately need a new onsite manager who can intelligently address the crime problem, develop a workable plan and then follow through. Don't hold your breath for that to happen.

Dear Anonymous, thanks so much for taking the time to comment. We apologize for your frustrations. If you have any additional suggestions for how we can improve please email us at npotter@associatedestates.com. We appreciate the feedback. Thanks so much. I can assure you that the Courtesy Officer that was working with Cypress Shores did an excellent job, enjoyed his position and had an outstanding relationship with our office. He has departed only temporarily and will be joining us again in January 2010. Thank you, Cypress Shores Manager -NP
