This building is a total monet. It seems really cool at first, but when you get in here and live in it....it SUX. Things I wish I knew before I moved in: 1. Unless the apartment is updated, its a very sub par apartment for miracle mile (this building was originally built as an apartment complex, and later turned condo) 2. The carpets in the hallways are NAAAAASTY, its embarrassing to have guests walk through the hallways 3. the walls are literally paper thin. I'm pretty sure I only have a sheetrock seperating me from my neighbor. I can hear every word she says when she's on the phone in her bedroom, and I'm pretty sure she can here me too. 4. the association is very uncooperative, and they have a lot of rules, if you break them, you get a notice, after 2 notices, you pay a fine. i.e. you have to reserve the elevator if you have ANNYTHING being delivered. i had a rug delivered (i could have brought it myself if my car would have fit it) and got in trouble for not having reserved the elevator in advance. 5. there's been a lot of times that my car transponder doesn't work and i end up having to pay $14 for parking 6. there's NO parking for guests, so if you have a friend coming to visit, you have to tell them to pay 14 dollars. 7. the lobby often smells of mildew, like someone spilled milk and let it sit there for 4 weeks. in fact, the lobby is the perfect example of my experience in this building, at first glance, it looks really cool and chic, and then you sit there for a minute, and realize that its some crappy worn out couch that they must have gotten from some thrift store. not as ultra modern and chic as they like to pretend it is. 8. cable: you HAVE to use directv in this building (no comcast or anything else). you can only have 1 HD receiver, or 2 regular tv receivers, what's up with all the friggin rules'

The OOONLLLYYY good thing i can say about this building is that you are right on the mile. Its great to step outside and be so close to everything.
