Plain and simple this place is unsafe. I'm an educated professional male that had been living here for a little over a year. At approximately 3:30am the morning of 10/1; I was held a gun-point right outside of my home while coming home for the 24hrs Walmart. The guy that stuck me up asked for money, of which i only had 5 dollars; he then made me get in my vehicle and take him to the nearest atm machine (Washington Mutual); where I withdreww 100 dollars. The robber then made me drive him to some ghetto apartment complex located off of Sample & Riverside Dr. so that he could use the phone. He knocked on the door and no one answered. He then made me drive him back to my home where he wanted to enter in order to use my cellphone. This entire time I was at gun-point. He proceeded to follow me into my residence with a gun pointed at the back of my head. Due to some quick thinking I was able to disarm the suspect and throw him out of my apartment. Needless to say I was scared for my life. The Coral Springs Police didn't catch this guy, and as a result of the ass kicking I gave this guy; I decided to move for the sake of my future safety. This place has no security. The gate has been broken since I lived there. Nothing in the entire complex actually works. The front office managers are low-life's that only give a ---- about nickle and dimeing their residence. These -------s want to charge me rent for 60 days for vacating the premises. Due to the lack of their security, and their lack of screening potential residences every type of low-life imaginable lives their. There is nothing luxurious about The Grove. Do yourself a favor and stay away if you're thinking of living there.

Definetely a bull**** story. Couldn't call 911 from your cell phone. You had to drive him here and drive him there and he wanted to use your phone??? And the cops can't trace the last number dialed??? Come up with something betta than that. And if you kissed his a** why didn't you grab the gun and hold him at gun point till the cops got there. Ya tough guy, good story!!!!!!

I wish the story wasn't true. Unfortunately it's real and I'll be posting the case #, the actual police report, and pictures of the event as well. Just for information purposes. Also, my attorney is in the process of filing a negligence lawsuit against the management company. Oh the event is real.

The story sounds true, this part of Coral Springs has had alot of robberies (2006 - 2007). My childrens after school center has a security guard posted outside to protect parents vehciles from being broken into while they pick up their kids.
