I love it here.. I have lived here since October of 2007 and it is great. They are always fixing up the place and the maintenance men are wonderful about addressing any issues that come up. I just renewed my lease and my rent did not go up at all.

It is really quiet too.... very respectful people and the pools and workout room are nice. They do allow dogs - so some of your own experience could depend on who lives next to you.... but so far for me **fingers crossed* it's been fine.

There is ALWAYS a ton of parking.. no issues there as far as I am concerned. I drive a big truck and even that isn't a problem.

Apparently there were a couple of breakins a few months ago- but it was people who basically "advertised" they weren't home... leaving sliding glass doors open on the ground floor and notes on their apartment doors that they were gone for the weekend... duh.... this is SOUTH FLORIDA.....at some point you have to exercise a little common sense.

As for the construction - I almost never hear my neighbors. They have laid out most of the floor plans so that you only share ONE common wall within any area of your apartment... so it hasn't been an issue. And, when the people below me were really loud, I just went down and asked them to "shhh".. and they did.

As for the no-see-ums.... yes, sometimes they are out - usually after a lot of rain - and never for more than a day at a time.

So, I'd say come on and rent here. I can't vouch for anything about the places you would BUY here, but my rental experience has been much better than I expected.

Wow... I'm sorry that you had such a negative experience. I've met a lot of people who have lived here 4, 6, even 10 years (although why anyone would continue renting for 10 years is beyond me).... so it must not be a bad place for everyone. And no, I'm not on the payroll... just a single person in a transitionary period of my life who wanted to live near the beach.... this complex gives me that opportunity while still being in a competitive price range.

We must be on the payroll also (HA HA. This place is great.My neighbors are very courtious and friendly and the management is great. Bugs at night are a little bothersome Certainly nothing to whine like a cry baby over. Without a doubt will renew our lease
