The staff kind of sucked. When you leave a voice mail message, no one returns your call. Ever. I got a message saying they had an apartment available for me, if I called the next day. Nobody answered the phone the entire day and no one called me back. By the time I got a hold of them, they had rented it to someone else. They put me through this twice before I finally got an apartment.

When I first moved in, they claimed they would fix the security gate and they never did, meaning I was lied to when I rented in a gated community.

There were disgusting brown cockroach things all over the apartment and I could never get them to go away, no matter how much I killed them. It was nasty to open the silverware drawer and find bugs crawling around. The wooden cabinets were decaying, and with no shelf paper, they made all my glasses and dishes smell nasty. They did not clean well before I moved in, with an entire bug graveyard in the top shelves. The bathroom smelled funny and I had to scrub the bath tub, toilet, and sink the first day I arrived.

The refrigerator was uneven, meaning every time I opened the door, the whole thing would shift, like a table with uneven legs. I called them and they fixed it, but a few weeks later it was back to the way it was. The oven was not turned on when I moved in, but since no one told me this, I started making dinner before realizing it didn't work, and by that time the office was closed.

Walls are thin. Screened in porch was nice. The apartment was nice, as a whole. The laundry was a pain, because you need a card to do your laundry, and you can only put money on the card when the office is open! The gym was never open, despite it supposedly being a 24-hour facility. The pool is really nice, though the hot tub isn't hot a lot of the time. There are a lot of ghetto neighbors, and I even saw a father and two kids whacking the lizards with giant sticks for fun. It was sick. The ducks are cool, but they are really tame and will walk right into your 1st floor apartment if you let them. A lot of crime there. It is cheaper than most of the other apartments without being too scary.

Also broke my lease to move somewhere else, and they charged me $1200, even though they rented it to someone else less than a month later. VERY UNFAIR COLLECTING DOUBLE RENT!!!
