Decent location, convenient to downtown Daytona and shopping areas. No on-site recreational facilities; but wonderful atmosphere and natural Florida surroundings.

The apartment maintenance was acceptable, and requests were usually responded to quickly; however, on several occasions, more than one visit was required. The apartment was often very noisy, since there is apparently very little insulation between units, luckily I was on an upper floor; and management seldom responded to any noise complaint that I voiced or heard of. The kitchen was bad news; with rust and filth showing on the stove and on refrigerator doors; all of which were old and nearly impossible to keep clean.

I did not feel particularly safe; especially, with outside lights out for weeks, the security gates frequently broken; and people ignoring fire restrictions by grilling on apartment porches.

I was able to do my laundry in a small facility in the office building; which also had a couple of exercise machines I used while doing laundry chores - this was great.

Overall, the experience was nerve wracking at times; especially near weekends, while attempting to concentrate and doing my homework, while wild parties were going on in my building. At other times the experience was very peaceful and enjoyable, but with no in between. Atypical apartment living; and not expected for the price of rent and atmosphere initially presented by the leasing office - look's can be deceptive.
