Since I first moved to Indigo the quality of living declined ever since.
First of all, my major complaint is how the management (or lack thereof) deals with problems. My car (and several of my neighbors) was vandalized twice in one year, stereo equipment and any valuables were history as well as damage to windows and interior. I filed a police report and immediately let management know. They tried to sound appologetic but were not the least bit willing to safeguard the complex. I lived in the first building, but others throughout the complex, usually in the back, have had breakins and motorcycles stolen about once per month it seems. This place needs security badly.
As for the staff, Mohommed is the only hard worker and is nice and courteous to deal with. Don't expect much from the rest of the staff, as they are usually out of the office or doing something more important than helping their tennants. Parking is a nightmare in most areas, and lighting is bad in a few spots. After 6PM, pray for a spot reasonably close to your apt.
From the outside, you think you are getting a higher quality apartment but there is no sound insulation (everyone seems to own a rice rocket with loud exhaust). Appliances fail frequently.
I would highly recommend a good car alarm if you want to live here. Overall, not a bad place to live, especially compared to others in the same price bracket. Rent in Daytona is outrageous because of it's beach location and Embry Riddle. If you want a decent place with no worries, expect to pay twice as much as planned. If I ever move back to Daytona, I will look elsewhere.
