Small, but great, but could be better

Management is happy and helpfull all the time, lives on property, maintenance is slow but kind and reliable. Space is poorly set up, all 1 bedroom, and bedrooms are set up so if you want the head of your bed against the wall there is only a <2 foot space to squeeze through at the end of it. Living room big enough to do anything with. Kitchen is tiny, no space for both a cutting board and a dish drain, no dishwasher, no space for one. No w/d hookups, but the huge counter in the bathroom could support a small-capacity sink hookup washer, since at the laundry facilities it is 1.25 to wash a tiny load. Bathroom is plenty sizeable compared to rest of apartment, bathtub is uncomfortable and small, but shower is nice, under-counter space for a big litterbox, great long mirror. They pay electric, gas (for stove), and water, but that makes the rent increase steadily. Pool view is an extra $10/mo. Can have 2 pets any size (breed restrictions) for $500 deposit. The construction here is almost done, will soon have screened in balconies. Very quiet, wonderful sound insulation, never hear the neighbors, but constantly hear whoever is splashing in the pool which technically closes at 10 pm but isn't enforced. Neighbors are reclusive but nice. Maybe 3 kids in the whole complex. 5 minute walk to Blockbuster, Pizza Hut, Liquor store, Publix, gym, etc. Plenty of parking. Very accepting of visitors, but the management notes all cars on property during the day, and there is a police officer living on site so it is mildly secure, but the area feels safe. Lovely treed courtyard for your dog to run in (on leash), but no off-leash area. Hot tub nice, but no bubble jets, don't know why, pool always clean. Will be moving because I can no longer afford to pay the rapidly increasing rent, but I don't think I'll like the new place as much as I like this one.
