there was always a party or a fight somewhere. i guess it's because they rent to mostly college students and pack 3 or more into a one bedroom apartment, lots of roaches to. they say it's legal, but it sure didn't seem right. was like the fleabag motels on ridgewood ave. i heard the boom boom boom of the super stereos at all hours from cars coming onto the lot, and also thru the walls from the inconsiderate other tenents playing music loudly. the guy next door to me had his car broken into, and motorcycles were also stolen. even though they talk it up as a nice place, there was mold everywere, inside and out, just walking down the sidewalk you would track it inside and then they say it's your fault the carpet looked like crap. the place was infested with fire ants with some of the hills over a foot high. along with many stray animals roaming the grounds. rattle snakes and poison cottonmouth snakes are all around the buildings, i had to take a stick with me when i walked my pupp for fear of the rodents and snakes. at night there are other animals roaming, possums and armadillos have burrows dug up everywhere around the buildings. the homeless people who live in the woods use the spa as a bathtub, so be careful and lock up. i was harrassed so much by the management that i'm glad they let me get out of my lease. i am sure one of the employees will leave a comment, but hey, thats just the way it was.

In 2 years I've never had any of these problems, except for the occasional ant problem. I need to point out that pest control is included in the lease and they're always prompt to come around if you have a problem with bugs. IMO they do everything they reasonably can to avoid pest problems, and I think they do a great job.

I agree about the noise!! At the time I lived there, I had made 3 complaints about noise-lound parties in the quad area at 3 am-music blaring in the middle of the night-I thought it would be a great place to live because I learned that Sunpointe had a police officer living there and got a huge discount for 'security' but EACH time I had to call the police the respone was 1/2 hr later AND the complex living cop never came. All I saw the cop do was lock up the gate to the swimming pool. Heck! I would have done that for 50% off my rent. What a joke!
