I have lived here for several years and unfortunately am stuck here until the end of the year. When I first moved here, I didn't think it was so bad. Don't get me wrong, it had it's share of problems, but it was a lot better than it is now. I am extremely upset with the recent owners lack of regard for it's current tenants. I think they should have to actually live here in one of the old apartments for a year to see what actually goes on and how disgusting this place is. Unfortunately, we all know that's not going to happen. I feel sorry for the suckers who are actually going to pay these outrageous rental fees on the upgraded apartments. All they've done to these buildings is some glorified cosmetic work to make them look a little better. (Who picked out the icky colors for the buildings anyway'). They still have a rat and roach infestation problem. I have yet to see any agressive pest or rodent control for either building. They obviously haven't updated the electrical wiring or pipes in the building. It would cost them a fortune to get these buildings up to code.

The construction is a whole other issue. They even came into my apartment while I was out for a few hours, without my permission. I thought you had to have at least 12 hours notice (in writing). Violation of Lease maybe' I'm so over it!! The noise, the trash everywhere, the lack of respect for the tenant issues by the owners, etc.

I personally have no issues with maintenance. The crew they currently have are doing the best they can with the junk they have to deal with. As far as the office goes, I personally haven't had much contact with Loraine, but Anthony is wonderful. He is like a diamond in he rough around this place.

At one time I probably would have said it would be okay to live here, but I wouldn't recommend it any more.
