Has it's ups and downs

My husband and I live in an apartment here right now. The apartment is a 1/1, 800 sq. feet. It has a washer/dryer which is nice. We live downstairs and can hear our upstairs neighbors walking around like elephants. We know when they use the bathroom, when they wake up, when they use the garbage disposal and when they yell. In other words, the walls are thin. Our downstairs window cannot be opened at night, not only for safety reasons but sprinklers spray right in. Where we live is not very noisy at night, thankfully. We enjoy the gym and use it regularly but haven't used the pool. We like living here because it is near I-95 and some good shopping plazas, etc. We have had a few problems since we moved in 3 months ago... our A/C unit began leaking musty nasty water down the wall and onto the carpet. They haven't replaced it yet... supposedly they will on Monday, we'll see. Also, our toilet was leaking. They were very good and got that fixed right away. The maintenance people like to fix your apartment when you are not home and the staff is not cooperative in helping you arrange a time for your repairs when you can be home. The maintenance staff simply enters your apartment when you are not home... which I do not like at all!

My husband lived here for a year before we married. His apartment was in bldg. 833, #828. upstairs. He and his roomate noticed rat droppings and their trash can being rummaged through. They sent pest control who searched the attic and left poison. three weeks later their apartment smells like rotten nastiness. Turns out the two foot long rats (two of them) ate the poison and were rotting up there. Sick. That's why we chose a downstairs apartment (no attic). I now realize this place is pretty crappy and we are looking forward to moving to another apartment ( not Siesta Key) when our lease is up. We will stay in Tivoli Park. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
