For the last 6 years I've lived here and we have gone through bad management one right after another. The newest manager has absolutely no skills with dealing with people. I have the type of job that requires me to be able to relocate at any given time. Living in an apt that allows month to month leasing as an option was ideal for my circumstance. Once the new people bought the property they no longer offered month to month as an option. So now since I have been transferred I find myself breaking the lease having to pay a month penalty fee. The manager, Phillis, continues to instruct her employees as to what to say to the residents rather than speaking to the residents herself as requested. We were told by the office staff, as it says in our lease, that when leaving the lease early we must give a 30 days notice to vacate and the penalty fee "is due upon move out." However Phillis told her employee to contact us to tell us she would not accept our move out notice until we gave her our penalty fee. This is clearly against our contract. After trying to contact Phillis many times and being told Phillis is too busy to speak with residents, I have gone into the office only to be given more excuses as to why I can not talk to her. What is the manager even there for'

Ever since the people next door moved out about 4 months ago, we have had an infestation of ---- roaches. The management does nothing to resolve this problem. We have absoulutely no food even in the cabinets, it is all in the fridge. Yeah, the bug man comes but it does no good. They even screw that up. One week we are told the bug mancomes on Fridays only then the next week we are told he comes on Mondays only so we keep missing him.

Our toilet overflowed in the apartment completely flooding the hallway and dining area and the office would not answer the phone or return our calls after leaving many messages...during office hours! Luckily, we have a vacuum that sucks up water. After about 8 hours we finally got all of the water up ourselves.

We are constanly told to pick up after our animals to keep the place clean (as we do anyway), yet 6 months after the hurricane, things are just now staring to get picked up and fixed.

We are so glad to be leaving here even if we do have to pay a penalty fee!
