I lived there for over a year and I had to get out. There were issues that I had addressed that were never responded to. I contacted the office manager Phyllis. She's as useful as a bag of sand in the desert!!!! I then addressed the management company. They didn't even attempt to contact me back. I sent them a certified letter and got confirmation that they did sign for it. This is the worst apartment complext i have ever seen in my life. They are only there to get your money and thats it. Then when it comes to moving out they will rape you when you need to get out of your lease early. I had to stay there for an extra 20 days and they made me sign a new lease (I couldn't do a month to month even though my last contract said I could). So they charged me for the month of February and March (even though I moved out in February. They kept my secruity deposit and my pet security deposit. All in all they collected 3,200 dollars for being there 20 days. Now I have bills coming to me for electricity and water that they were suppose to turn off but they wont even notify the companies. I have advised them if this doesn't get resolved I will be talking to an attorney. I hate to see an awfule company make money. . these people are awfule. Oh and Ayessa, she works in the office, if you get the opportunity to live by her, her boyfriend is stuck on himself and they are noisy as all hell but they have no problem complaining and stomping their feet in their apartment if the t.v. is a little loud. I hear she's been seen taking Victor (another guy in the apartment complex that works there) up to her apartment during lunches. Last thing the grounds suck. What people say about it not being fixed many months after the hurricane is correct. Plus I would walk my dog and I found a dead duck in the yard that was there until I moved (many weeks from when i noticed it). Kinda sick that the grounds keepers cant clean up a little better. Last thing, the "secured entrance" I had many people come in and the security guard would either be asleep or just wave them in without asking for identification or who they were going to see.

This was my situation also. Our lease said month to month was offered for 6 years, then once we needed that option, they would not offer it to us. We had to sign a 7 month lease for an extra 4 weeks. We were charged BIG time trying to get out of it. Now they won't give us back our pet deposit and gym deposit (which has nothing to do with the forfeited SECURITY deposit for breaking the lease). I have also left messages and sent letters to the owners of the community and they never replied to any of them.
