Parking lot is always littered w/trash blowing around. Lack of insulation b/n units means I have to hear the ghetto music blasting from the neighboring apt. Loud, echoing breezeways mean i have to hear people hollering on their cell phones all the time. I thought by the rent being so steep and the initial deposit also being so high it would weed out any undesirable, ghetto tenants moving in here but that's not the case. Where do all the young professionals live around here damnit!!!!! They must all be drug dealers to afford this place.

Also, the Resident Services office WILL NOT accept packages for you. EVER. So if you ever order something online or whatever just have it sent to your work address or something if you can't be home to accept it. Again, a total inconvenience that they, of course, don't disclose when you move in. Also, not the kind of place where I'd let a carrier leave a package on my doorstep either.

They really want to rape you when it comes to charging extra for things. The ratty, dirty small gym is an extra $75 fee. Not like one person couldn't pay that then have dozens of key copies made for their ghetto friends to use the gym anyway.

The "car wash" station always seems to be the chromed-wheeled, bass-blasting trashy hangout. And you have to PAY for the car washing machine.

Lived here 1 week and my Accord was broken into. Nothing taken b/c i'm not stupid enough to leave anything ever sitting out in my car but costed nearly $200 in repairs at Honda.

Yes, like everyone else says, the "gate" IS. A. TOTAL. AND. COMPLETE. JOKE. The underpaid dude just waves people thru while chatting on his cell phone. The dumb little prick in the leasing office insisted on putting that annoying little barcode on my car, and for what purpose''' They don't give a ---- who comes into this place. So i pealed the ugly sticker off.

Location and size of apts are the 2 high points. Location good b/c only 3 miles from beach and just off I-95. Bad b/c of the HORRIBLE neighborhood just east of the complex, which must be where the car vandals/thieves reside.

Basically just DONT...BE...FOOLED...BY...APPEARANCES. The landscaping is well-kept but it's just a mask for the crummy management and old, outdated units. My hardware is el cheapo (plastic kitchen sink faucet), cabinetry old and falling apart, appliances old.

My convertible was vandalized and attempted to be stolen a couple weeks ago. Parked in a brightly-lit spot right in front of my ground-floor apt. So the top was slashed open, seats slashed up, and a few items stolen. Figures. So now i get to spend $500 on my deductible for repairs. I'm lucky to enough to have a friend with a garage in a high-end neighborhood where I store it now. According to BSO another car in Tivoli that same night was put up on blocks and the rims stolen.

Generally the price, size and location of this complex is good; most 1-bedroom apts in this area easily top $1000 a month. Pretty shady tenents; thought there would be more FAU students but these people seem pretty blue-collar to be in college.

It's great now b/c my A/C is broken, it's SOUTH FLORIDA IN AUGUST, and the maintenance guy has to order the part to repair it. So I'll be without A/C for at least 4 whole days. Unacceptable that they wouldn't keep A/C components stocked up. This is ridiculous.

Breaking my lease and moving out in Oct b/c I'm able to buy a condo since the market is doing so badly right now. Thank god.
