They do anything to keep your security deposit. There was a cut in my kitchen floor when I moved there - I indicated on my move-in sheet and I still got charged for replacing it. I tried to take them to small claims court. They don't care - they will do whatever it takes to get money from the security depoist. Hopefully the cost of their lawyer - made up for the charges that the took out of my deposit..
