I lived in Tivoli Springs for 6 years. When I first moved in it was a great place to live. Unfortunately conditions deteriorated throughout my 6 year stay. The apartments are infested with rats. You hear them running in the walls and ceiling. God forbid you open the crawl space in your closet. Rat feces and pigeon feces come raining down on you and your clothes. I AM NOT KIDDING. The rats also make it into your apartment - especially in the bathroom area. The kitchens in the apartment are so out-of-date it's unbelievable. The appliances are ancient and disgusting. The management lets anyone and everyone move in. It did not used to be this way. Now that it is, expect to see police regularly and all sorts of thugish people everywhere. Also, good luck getting your deposit back. They are crooks. They make you agree to a $150 "administrative fee", to be automatically deducted from your deposit, and then proceed to take more out when you leave, no matter how nice and clean you keep your place. Finally, they have no pet restrictions whatsoever and all the lovely neighbors seem to have pit bulls. Nice, huh' Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this community.

Beware don't rent at the Tivoli Complex, none of them. They are advertizing "Luxury" and that is a lie. The office staff is rude, the maintenance me are told to "Yes" the residents, but they are instructed not to follow through. If felt as if I was living in a prison, confined because to break lease costs approx. 2 - 3 months of rent. The kitchens are so outdated, the workout facilities are not usable, and that is if they are every unlocked. The sauna is used to a sex room, where you find condums and drug parafanilia on a daily bases. The crime in Tivoli has reached high levels, and the police are there all the time. The pets in some cases are larger than people and are going without leashes. Very unsafe conditions are present, and if you have mold, you may as well get out your check book, because you will need to see your Doctor, and pay for a mold test. It is horrible at the Tivoli complex.
